Amsterdam danced to the beat of the Windmill Windup drum yet again in 2007. Commiserations if you missed it! It was the best of Ultimate again -- competitive yet fun, athletic yet spirited. Good play and good party action.
As in previous years, the revolutionary Swiss Draw format made this tournament ideal for teams of all intentions. Teams of similar standard were quickly matched up without going through inefficient pool rounds. Teams that are getting ready for their respective National campaigns or EUCS Regionals or EUC2007 got their fill of quality ultimate. But also teams that never expected to walk away with the cup played competitive games and got their fill of early-summer madness in a fun city.
